Important Information

Please reach us at 561-371-2381 if you have additional questions.

 

  1. Please send the child's teacher and aftercare director (if the child is enrolled) an email letting them know your child is enrolled in gymnastics. They will help them get to the appropriate place each week.
  2. Remind your child each week that they have gymnastics that day.
  3. Wear loose fitting clothes. If your child wants to wear a leotard, make sure they wear it under their clothing. Changing takes too much time.
  4. If a child’s hair is long, please wear it up in a ponytail or pack a hair tie for them.
  5. We do not wear shoes or socks during class. Please make sure the girls do not wear tights.
  6. If your child wears a dress to school, please make sure they have on bicycle shorts underneath or something to change into.
  7. Please send your child with a water bottle to stay hydrated. If they want to bring a small snack to eat before class starts that is fine. Just make sure it is healthy and does not contain a lot of sugar.
  8. When class is over, I will bring the children to Aftercare if that’s where they need to go, or out to parent pick-up. When you signed up, you let us know which one you wanted. If this should change, please let me know.
  9. If someone else is going to pick up your child, or if they are going home with a friend, please let me know.
  10. If you are going to be late for any reason, please text me at 561-371-2381.
  11. If your child is absent, please text me so I won’t be looking for them.
  12. Since classes are done at school, there is no make up for missed classes.
  13. I post pics and videos each week on Instagram. Please make sure to follow me @flip2bfit to see them in action.
  14. If there is ever a problem or concern, I am always here. Please let me know immediately so I can rectify the situation

Children are challenged to push their limits! We work each class on stretching to increase flexibility and working with light weights to increase strength. We encourage you to include your child in your workout routine at home. They will love spending time with you and you will both be getting healthier!

Each class will work on basic tumbling skills as well as the balance beam and bar. When a child achieves a skill, we then challenge them to get to the next level! Example: Cartwheel, one arm cartwheel, aerial. Balance beam skills, bar skills and basic vaulting techniques are taught. We stress the importance of "safety" in all of our classes.

These are not only important for gymnastics, but for any sport they may choose to play. We use many types of balance equipment to help achieve this goal. We start with a low balance beam close to the floor and raise it gradually when the child is confident.

Let's face it, we are all busy. Our program brings the gym to you! Your child will be brought to aftercare or parent pick up after class has ended. I will post pics on Facebook so you can see the kids in action.

Kids have been sitting all day in school. they want to get up and move! Our classes are taught using obstacle courses. This allows us to customize our program towards your child's level. While we are spotting a new skill at a station, the kids are kept busy working on activities they can do by themselves. This minimizes the amount of time spent waiting in lines.
